Car cruise slated during National Road Festival
A car cruise in conjunction with the National Road Festival will take place from noon to 4 p.m. May 17. The cruise is being held at the American Legion Post 51 secured parking lot, located at 114 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown.
The Gallatin Avenue Concerned Citizens Association and the American Legion Post 51 sponsor this event. Arnie Amber and his dusty platters will provide the tunes.
The menu includes meatball subs, pulled pork sandwiches and halushki.
Sand Hill Berry Farms will be serving pie and ice cream. Beverages also will be available for sale.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 75 entrants to the show. Prizes will be awarded to the top three vote getters. There is a registration fee for each car.
Door prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes. A 50/50 drawing will be part of the activities during the car show.
