The summer concert series “Music on the Mon” hosted by The Brownsville Area Revitalization Corp. (BARC) will be held on the lawn at Nemacolin Castle, 136 Front St., Brownsville. Jill West and the Blues Attack will perform Sunday and The Tiger Maple String Band Aug. 21.
Harrigan’s at the Uniontown Holiday Inn hosts Bobby Reed Jazz Night every Thursday from 7 to 10?p.m.
Acoustic Fridays at the Stone House feature live entertainment by area artists every Friday in the Tavern from 8 to 11 p.m. with no cover.

Flat Iron Heritage Center Museum and the Frank Melega Art Museum on Market Street in Brownsville is open to the public from 11?a.m. to 2?p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 to 4?p.m. Sunday, or by appointment. There is no admission charge but donations are welcome. The museum features artifacts from the National Road and industrial eras as well as a gift shop. To schedule an appointment, call 724-785-9331.
The Fayette County Law Library presents Julia Hair, of the Fayette County Courthouse, as artist of the month of August. Hair’s collection of photography can be seen at the Law Library on the second floor of the Fayette County Courthouse. The public is invited, admission is free and the hours of operation are from 8?a.m. to 4:30?p.m. Monday through Friday.

Friends of Ohiopyle State Park will hold a volunteer day beginning at 9 a.m. Aug. 6, for a day of giving back to nature. They will meet at the park office and work on the project of the day. Holy Rosary Parish Street Fair will be held Saturday from 5:30-11 p.m. and Sunday from 4-10 p.m.
The Connellsville Wal-Mart, located on 119 South just outside of Connellsville, will host a car/bike/truck show on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Trophies will be presented for the best entry in each class. A manager’s choice trophy will be presented for the best in all three classes. Raffles, theme baskets, food and music will complete the event. Registration is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The fee is $8. All proceeds from this event go to Children’s Miracle Network.
The third annual Duck Hollow Golf Club car and bike shows will be held Aug. 7 from noon to 4 p.m. with proceeds to benefit Miracle League Baseball. For information, call 724-771-5044.

The Sagebrush Round-up lineup for Saturday includes Open Stage from 6 -6:30 p.m., The Round-Up Band, Frannie Rush, Made in America, Maria Rose & Danny (from RFD-TV) and Joe Hall & Pike County. The Westmoreland County Historical Society will feature a Family Friday program about the recent archaeological excavations at Historic Hanna’s Town. Archaeologist Benjamin Ford Ph.D, will discuss the results of the work conducted by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania archeology field school from 1 to 2 p.m. today. There is an admission fee for adults, for seniors and children 6-18 years of age, and includes a site tour. Call 724-532-1935 extension 10 to make a reservation.
