Doctors plan medical conference
Fayette Anesthesia Providers, medical professionals providing anesthesia services at Uniontown Hospital, are preparing for their fourth annual winter symposium.
The educational conference will be held Jan. 27-29, 2012 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington.
Speakers for the continuing medical educational seminar include:
Uniontown Hospital staff members: Dr. Cataldo Corrado, Emergency Department; Dr. Lawrence Glad, Obstetrics Department; Renee Harvey, DNP, CRNA, clinical coordinator, Anesthesia Department; John Kaminsky, director, Uniontown Hospital Police Department; Janel Mudry, JD, director, Medical/Legal Services; Dr. Ari Pressman, chair, Department of Surgery; Stacy Smith-Carei, CRNA, MS, Department of Anesthesiology; and Dr. Josef Vanek, Department of Surgery.
Additional faculty teaching at the conference will include:
Dr. Robert Chiu, facial plastic surgeon; Megan Dill, CRNA, MS, Premier Anesthesia Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania; Judy Haluka, Regional Faculty for BLS, ACLS and PALS; Dr. Beverly Pearce-Smith, Department of Anesthesiology, UPMC Presbyterian.
Dr. Manny Vallejo, Department of Anesthesiology, Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC; and Dr. Jonathan Waters, Department of Anesthesiology, Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC.
The seminar is planned in accordance with the standards established by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for educational credits.
