Harrigan’s at the Uniontown Holiday Inn hosts Bobby Reed Jazz Night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

The State Theatre in Downtown Uniontown will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Fayette County Community Action Food Bank. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at upcoming performances.

“Working Press Time Captured,” an exhibition at the Frank. L. Melega Art Museum in Brownsville featuring local and regional press photographers, has been extended. The exhibit will be on display through Feb. 20. For information, call 724-785-9331.

Flat Iron Heritage Center Museum and the Frank Melega Art Museum on Market Street in Brownsville is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, or by appointment. There is no admission charge but donations are welcome. The museum features artifacts from the National Road and industrial eras as well as a gift shop. To schedule an appointment, call 724-785-9331.

The Fayette County Law Library presents Mark Hoffmann, playwright, for the month of January. The library, on the second floor of the Fayette County Courthouse, is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at Ohiopyle State Park will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday starting at the Meadow Run Slides parking lot. From there the group will get fitted in gear and head out on the trail.

There is no charge for this program; however, because gear is limited it is recommended to call ahead for reservations at 724-329-0986 or email at eeohiopyle@qcol.net.

The Sagebrush Round-up lineup for Saturday is open stage from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Travis Minnick, The Round-Up Band, Brandon Howdershelt and Scotty & The 44 Magnum Band. There is an admission fee and children 12 and younger are admitted free.

“Fiddler on the Roof,” the Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, will come to the WVU Creative Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 12.

“Vatican Splendors: A Journey through Faith and Art,” a 10,000 square-foot exhibition at The Senator John Heinz History Center, is preparing for the final days of its record-breaking international exhibition and will close this Sunday. To ensure that as many visitors as possible have an opportunity to see the exhibition, the History Center is offering extended hours during the final week, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Jan. 9. Tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, or via telephone at 1-888-5VATICAN, or at the Heinz History Center box office at 1212 Smallman St. in the Strip District, during museum hours.
