Flat Iron Heritage Center Museum and the Frank Melega Art Museum on Market Street in Brownsville is open to the public from 11?a.m. to 2?p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 to 4?p.m. Sunday, or by appointment. There is no admission charge but donations are welcome. The museum features artifacts from the National Road and industrial eras as well as a gift shop. The Fayette County Law Library presents Julia Hair, of the Fayette County Courthouse, as artist of the month of August. Hair’s collection of photography can be seen at the Law Library on the second floor of the Fayette County Courthouse. The public is invited, admission is free and the hours of operation are from 8?a.m. to 4:30?p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Actors and Artists of Fayette County will be holding open auditions for the musical “Clue ” that will be performed Oct. 6-9.Those auditioning must bring music and sing 32 bars, plus be prepared to dance and cold read. All parts are open and auditions are open to those 20 years of age and older. Auditions for East End United Community Center’s “Uniontown’s Got Talent” will be held Saturday at the State Theatre for the Performing arts in Uniontown. The live show will be held Sept. 24 at the State Theatre. For an audition application, visit the State Theatre in downtown Uniontown or the East End United Community Center at 150 Coolspring St., Uniontown before Sunday. There is an audition fee to try out.

Car show and chicken dinner hosted by St. Mary Church in Leckrone will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is a cost.

The Sagebrush Round-up will hold a special weekend “Bluegrass Festival.” Music today begins at 6 p.m. And will feature The Mountain State Bluegrass Express, The Twigg Sisters, Highland Grass and The Grass Pistols (From Russia). A car show, flea market and vendors will be featured Saturday. Ryan Cain & The Abels willperform at 1 p.m. Music inside will start at 5 p.m. and feature The Round-Up Band, The Richards Brothers and Break Iron. The main act will be The Little Roy & Lizzy Show.

The Tony Award winning musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be presented on the West Virginia Public Theatre stage through Sunday at the Historic Metropolitan Theatre in downtown Morgantown.
