Heinz History Center offering special Father’s Day programming
This Sunday, in honor of Father’s Day, the Senator John Heinz History Center invites visitors to explore the life of one of the nation’s most influential Founding Fathers, as part of the new “Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World” exhibition, presented by the Katherine Mabis McKenna Foundation, MSA, and UPMC Health Plan.
All dads will receive “buy one, get one free” admission to see the 8,000 square-foot Ben Franklin exhibit and the entire History Center, which also includes the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.
After learning about Ben Franklin’s amazing inventions and connections to Western Pennsylvania during the French & Indian War, dads can relive Mazeroski’s World Series-winning home run, Franco Harris’ Immaculate Reception, and more of the most unforgettable moments in Pittsburgh sports history at the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum.
“The Benjamin Franklin: In Search of a Better World” exhibit closes July 31.
