Uniontown man denied bond after allegedly fleeing from police

A Uniontown man is being held without bond after allegedly trying to flee from police early Tuesday morning. According to court paperwork, Harley Lawver, 34, was parked near the entrance of the Martin’s Plaza in Connellsville around 12:30 a.m. when police tried to detain him. At the time, Lawver was being surveilled as part of a separate investigation, though there have been no other charges filed against him.
