Musuem will present the exhibit “Antonio Pertucelli:

Master Illustrator” Saturday through Dec. 4 featuring Petruccelli’s

Flat Iron Heritage Center

Museum and the Frank Melega Art Museum on Market Street in

Brownsville is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday

through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, or by appointment. There is

no admission charge but donations are welcome. The museum features

artifacts from the National Road and industrial eras as well as a

The Fayette County Law

Library presents Bobby Croft as the artist of the month

for November. Croft’s collection of artwork can be seen at the Law

Library on the second floor of the Fayette County Courthouse. The

public is invited, admission is free and the hours of operation are

from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Hoedown round and square

dancing, slow dancing, polkas, line dancing and clogging

will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. today at the Rogersville Fire Hall

on Route 21 five miles west of Waynesburg. There will be a 50/50,

food and coffee and soft drinks. Dave Dahl will present the music

and figure calling. A small donation will be accepted.

Soul diva Gladys

Knight will perform at the West Virginia University

Waynesburg University’s

Touring Choir, featuring 20 Waynesburg University

students, will perform a fall concert titled “A Thankful Heart.”

The concert will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday in Roberts Chapel.

West Virginia University’s

Creative Arts Center will host Indie pop group Lake Street

Dive and folk rock band The Spring Standards along with Booker T.

Jones and Jill Sobule at 7 p.m. on Sunday.The artists are all part

of West Virginia Public Broadcasting’s Mountain Stage with Larry

Groce. One additional artist will be announced in the coming days.

The Sagebrush

Round-up lineup for Saturday includes Open Stage 6 -6:30,

“Teenie Harris,

Photographer: An American Story,” the first major

retrospective exhibition of the work and legacy of African American

artist Charles “Teenie” Harris, is now on view at Carnegie Museum

of Art. The exhibition runs through April 7.

Castle Stankenfrein and the

Seldom Scene Players will present “The Evil Plot” in

Transylvania at 7 p.m. today and Saturday on the stage of the

Turkeyfoot Valley High School auditorium, Harnedsville. Admission

is free but donations will be accepted. The high school

cheerleaders also will serve soup with rolls and crackers and hold

a bake sale from 5 to 7 p.m. today and the Lions Club will hold an

Irish potato pancake dinner in the elementary gymnasium from 4 to 7

p.m. Saturday.

The Pittsburgh

Polishfest will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at

The University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning. This family

oriented event is free and all proceeds will benefit the University

of Pittsburgh Polish Room Scholarship Fund. The event includes a

celebration of Polish music, song, dance and religion. It also

offers ethnic foods, folk arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations,

a pierogi eating contest, polish films, a children’s craft area and

The Westmoreland County

Historical Society will serve afternoon tea during two

seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.Saturday and Nov. 19. Full tea

will be served, which includes tea, savories, scones, sweets and
