The East End United Community Center recently announced the third “Uniontown’s Got Talent” competition will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the State Theatre in Uniontown.

Judges Bobby Nicholas, Amy Brown, Rachel White and Cristen Ross will be front and center when this year’s contestants take the stage.

This year the format for the show has changed. The ticket price has been reduced and the field has been narrowed to 12 semi-finalists who will be performing. There will be three performers younger than 12 who will be competing for the junior title of Uniontown’s Got Talent winner: Haley Butina, Ariel Ellington and Lauren Yazzani.

The senior performers are Carly Riedmann, Dana Atwood, Breanna Craggette, Taylor Anderson, Amy Harsock, Rick Garlick, Breanna Otto, Sydney Marks and Gerald Ellington.

At the end of all performances the audience will be given a chance to vote for the winner of the senior competition.

Everyone will receive a card to select a contestant by number for the first, second and third place winners. These cards will be collected and used to determine the final score of the winners.

The evening will be rounded out by guest performances from Bobby Nicholas, the Rev. Douglas Wright and last year’s winner Randy “Bo” Newcomer.

By showing a ticket between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 24, the following restaurants will offer discounts on either appetizers or meals: 30 East Main, Rizz’s, Melonie’s and Titlow Tavern & Grille. Tickets will be available at the State Theatre the night of the performance, but can be purchased in advance by going to the State Theatre, Fayette Chamber of Commerce or calling the East End United Community Center at 724-437-1660.
