Rape suspect to stand trial
An Eighty Four man will stand trial on charges he raped a 15-year-old Bentleyville girl and left her unconscious on her mother’s porch in West Brownsville on Nov. 26.
State police Trooper Christian D. Lieberum said Michael John Schnore Vallor, 21, was charged with rape, possession with intent to deliver drugs, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.
During a preliminary hearing earlier this week, Lieberum said prosecutors withdrew the charge of aggravated indecent assault. Following testimony, Magisterial District Judge Gary H. Havelka held the remaining charges against Vallor for Washington County Court.
Lieberum said the charges were filed after Vallor and the girl smoked marijuana and K2, a mixture of potpourri-like herbs and spices laced with hallucinogenic chemicals.
Vallor then raped the girl at location in West Brownsville.
Lieberum said Vallor kept the teen with him until 5 a.m., when he and a friend took her to her mother’s home and placed her on the porch, unconscious.
He said that Vallor covered her with a blanket and then fled the home.
She was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Township for treatment and later transferred to UPMC-Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for additional care.
