By The 1 min read

Charges were held for court during the preliminary hearing on Wednesday for a Uniontown man charged with crimes arising out of allegedly stealing Christmas presents.

Myron Lee Rose, 33, of Independence Avenue, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing items from the home of Amanda R. Miller on Cinder Road in South Union Township.

Rose was taken Fayette County Prison on a $50,000 bond. Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. kept Rose’s bond the same.

State police said Miller reported she came home around 5 p.m. Dec. 7 and saw her ex-boyfriend, Rose, running from her home, carrying a black bag. Inside, she found that a DVD player, five DVDs, a television remote control and various presents were missing, police said.
