Monongahela Valley Hospital will host a 36-function Multiphasic Blood Analysis from 7 to 10 a.m. March 31 in the hospital’s Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center.

The testing is open to the public at a cost of $25 per person. Appointments are required and pre-registrations can be made until March 28 by calling 724-258-1282 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Participants who do not have an MVH staff physician will be asked to provide the full name, address, phone and fax number of the physician to whom the test results will be sent by facsimile.

For a small additional cost, thyroid stimulating hormone tests (TSH) and prostate specific antigen tests (PSA) will also be available.

Medical professionals from the Laboratory at Monongahela Valley Hospital will conduct the testing, and the procedure takes between 15 and 20 minutes. Light refreshments are served at the end of the tests.

A 12-hour fasting period will be required prior to testing. Persons on medication should consult with their physicians.
