Flenniken Library schedules computer classes
Flenniken Public Library in Carmichaels will hold computer classes offering hands-on training during May and June.
The classes are free. They include:
n Using a mouse, from 1 to 2 p.m. May 24. This class will instruct participants in how to manipulate a mouse and some of the keyboard keys. Unless the participant has prior computer experience, this class should be taken first.
n Microsoft Vista, from 1 to 2 p.m. May 31, will instruct participants in the basics of Microsoft Vista.
n Microsoft Word 2007, from 1 to 2 p.m. June 7, will instruct in how to write letters and reports using this program.
n Beginning Internet, from 1 to 2 p.m. June 14, will provide an outline in finding information ion the Internet.
The library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
