The unofficial start of summer begins this weekend with Memorial Day. And while I hope everyone enjoys their weekend (for some it’s a long weekend) let’s remember our troops serving our country right now and those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and way of life.
Looks like I’ll be hauling my big, pregnant behind to Idlewild this weekend to kick off the summer season. Let’s just hope that the temperatures are slightly cooler than the 93 degrees our weather page on HeraldStandard.com is predicting. Looks like I’ll be purchasing one of those misting fans I always see people carrying around at amusement parks.
