Javascript Tracker: Metrics are gathered from a javascript tracker (similar to Google Analytics) that is inserted onto the page. This data source is considered more accurate due to the cookie-based visitor counting and the exclusion of most bots. Non-HTML content (video, images, css, javascript, etc) will not be counted with this data source.

Log Based:Metrics are gathered from server-side log files. This is similar to the Urchin-style statistics. All traffic is accounted for, including bots, and page level elements. This data source is good for tracking bandwidth and hits.
