Police probe robbery in South Union

By The 1 min read

State police said they are investigating after a South Union Township woman found a man inside her car in her driveway late Monday.

Lisa Hilliard told police that she discovered a man inside her vehicle, which was parked in the driveway outside her home, around 11:45 p.m.

When Hilliard confronted the man, he brandished a knife, Trooper Heather L. Clem said.

During the incident, Clem said that the suspect injured Hilliard’s face and also stabbed her in her left shoulder.

Hilliard suffered minor injuries, Clem said.

The man stole a cellphone and a cellphone charger from the vehicle and then fled on foot into a wooded area, Clem said.

The suspect was described only as a white man in his mid-20s.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.
