Student re-elected
Justin Teet of Vanderbilt, a 2011 graduate of Connellsville Area High School and the son of Bill and Theresa Teets, is the first student in the history of the college to be re-elected president of the Student Government Association for a second one-year term. A junior politics major with a minor in economics, he served as president of his freshman and sophomore classes and was named SGA member of the year in 2011-2012. Teets is a member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honor society. He is also an active member of the Lions Club in Dunbar Township.
Educator finalists
Carol Aten Frow, Belle Vernon Area School District, and Jen Klobucar, Yough School District, were recent finalists Pennsylvania’s 2014 Teacher of the Year Keystone Awards.
Attorney appointed
Paige Greenlee of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Scenery Hill, has been appointed by the Florida Bar to serve a three year term on the board of the bar foundation. Greenlee earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from the Emory School of Law.
She is a commercial litigator with Sivyer, Barlow and Watson, and the daughter of Barrett and Sara Greenlee of Scenery Hill.
