Burglary attempted

State police said they are investigating an attempted burglary from a construction trailer owned by Schultz Electric of Washington on New Salem Road between Dec. 22 and Monday.

Woman charged

State police said Talai Ali Alalthbait, 27, no address available, was charged with simple assault following an altercation with Nora Diab Al-Balawi, 24, no address available, at a location on Duck Hollow Road on Tuesday.

State police said a vehicle driven by Erica Haynes of Uniontown crashed on Lower Oliver 3 Road on Dec. 16.

Burglary reported

Wendell Forsythe of Menallen Township told police that someone stole guns and coins from his home on Waltersburg Road on Monday, state police said.

Woman cited

Pamela Palmer, 55, of Connellsville was cited for public drunkenness after police found her unconscious in a parking lot along Highway Supply Road on Tuesday, state police said.

Aluminum stolen

Southwest Regional police said a large amount of collected scrap aluminum owned by Janey Higby of Newell was stolen from a location in the borough on Thursday.

Vehicle damaged

Ann Price of Belle Vernon told police that vandals used a pellet gun to shoot and damage the window of her car while it was parked on Water Street on Tuesday, Southwest Regional police said.

Man cited

James R. Lewis, 37, of 1246 Buckeye Road, Mount Morris, was cited for public drunkenness following an incident on Mechanic Street in Perry Township, Greene County, on Thursday, Southwest Regional police said.
