State police said someone entered a residence along Fairchance Road on Thursday and stole jewelry.

Vehicle damaged
State police said someone damaged the driver side door of Thomas Ray Newman Jr.’s vehicle by unknown means sometime between Wednesday and Thursday.

Crash reported
State police said Donald Coughenour, 78, and Rosalie Coughenour, 74, both of Hopwood, were transported to Uniontown Hospital after their vehicle was struck by another car driven by Brandon Clark, 32, of Masontown on Monday.

Tobacco citation
Charity Popovich was cited for sale of tobacco to a minor Thursday at a gas station at 301 N. Main St., reported Uniontown police, who explained this is part of a countywide tobacco compliance program.

Fighting reported
Police investigated a report of a group of people fighting on Coolspring Street early Saturday. Police observed several people in the area but no one fighting. They remained until the people dispersed.

Man arrested
Police arrested Davon Hunter for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following a traffic stop on Connellsville Street early Saturday.

Two-vehicle accident
Police said no one was injured when a silver Honda CP, driven by Joan Nagg, and a gray Jeep, driven by Bernard Wydo, collided at the intersection of West Main Street and Kensington Street about 4 p.m. Friday. Police said the Honda received moderate damage and the Jeep sustained minor damage.

Money stolen
Jamie Nero of South Beeson Avenue told police that $150 was stolen from his apartment Friday.

Piano on road
Police were called at 5:22 p.m. Friday when a piano fell off a truck on Morgantown Street at Berkeley. Police said the debris was being removed from the road.

Nude woman in pool
Police investigated a call about a naked woman in a backyard swimming pool on Collins Avenue about 6 p.m.. Friday. Police said she was inside her home when they arrived and they advised her she could be arrested for indecent exposure if she continues to swim nude in public.

Windshield shattered
Violet Schnatterly of 91 Dawson Avenue told state police someone shattered the rear windshield of her 1992 Chrysler New Yorker sedan sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday. Damage is estimated at $100.

Accident probed
State police investigated a two-vehicle crash on New Salem Road at the intersection with Matthew Drive at 3:41 p.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported. Christina L. Adams, 23, of McClellandtown operated a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier while Craig S. Lavery, 34, of Masontown operated a 1991 Chevrolet S10. Police were assisted by South Union Fire Department and Fayette EMS.

Route 40 accident
State police said a crash occurred on Route 40 (East Main Street) southbound when two vehicles collided Friday evening. Police said Michael R. Strosnider, 36, of Uniontown drove a 2000 Buick Century while Betty S. Dressel, 23, of Hopwood drove a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. Anthony W. Elli of Morgantown, Josiah S. Boyer, 24, of Hopwood, and Heath J. Strosnider, 42, of Lake Lynn, were passengers in the Buick. No injuries were reported. Strosnider was cited.

Hit and run
State police investigated a hit-and-run crash that occurred at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at a private drive situated at 231 Hollow Road. Someone struck the driver’s side tailgate of a 2007 GMC Sierra and fled the scene. Police said the GMC was legally parked. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 724-439-7111.

Restaurant Row accident
State police said a vehicle collided with a 2006 Hummer driven by Pamela A. Rucker, 41, of Adah, at 3 p.m. Friday on Restaurant Row behind the Olive Garden restaurant. Police said the first vehicle fled the scene before crash information could be exchanged. The Hummer included a three-month-old child, who was not identified. No injuries were reported.

State police said somone operated an ATV damaged vehicles and removed items along Richey Road and Mount Pleasant Road area from 3:30 a.m. June 24-25.
