‘Dancing with a Pink Ribbon’ project announces dates for mobile unit
Cornerstone Care’s “Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” project has announced dates at locations for the month of May. The program’s medical mobile unit will provide the public with free clinical breast exams and mammogram referrals to women and men at several locations throughout the month.
The dates and times include:
n Wednesday, May 15 — Crosskeys Health Fair, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Central Christian Church, 23 S. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown. Clinical breast exams, blood pressures and glucose screenings will be performed at this location.
n Thursday, May 16 — Asbury Church, 6 to 9 p.m., 20 Dunbar St., Uniontown.
Anyone interested in receiving a free clinical breast exam, or obtaining a referral for a mammogram, can call Sheila Shea, outreach coordinator, to schedule an appointment for one of the listed locations. Appointments are required, but Cornerstone Care will attempt to accommodate any walk-ins.
“Dancing with a Pink Ribbon” is a program made possible with funding provided by the American Cancer Society’s East Central Division through the NFL Crucial Catch Foundation.
