Karen J. Ware of Main Street, Fairchance, was cited by police Wednesday after she was allegedly found drunk outside a borough residence.

Burglary reported
A Uniontown man reported to state police that someone entered his Jeffries Street home between the hours of 8:40 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday and removed property. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

Woman charged
Police have filed charges of driving under the influence and possession of drugs against Maegan Marie Basinger, 27, of Dunbar Township following a traffic stop Saturday on Woodlawn Avenue.

Man charged
State police filed charges of driving under the influence against Frank Michael Zelansko of Normalville following a crash Sunday along Route 711.

Batteries stolen
State police are investigating a report of the theft of batteries from heavy equipment parked in the McClellandtown Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Police said the theft took place between May 24 and May 28.

Crash reported
State police are investigating the cause of an accident that took place May 24 along Ridge Boulevard. Police said George M. Dunston, 62, of Connellsville drove his vehicle into a drain culvert along the roadway.

Susan N. Heppenstall, 19, of Pittsburgh was charged with theft by state police after she allegedly stole an iPad 2 and Coach case from Kyli Marie Stoner, 18, of Dunbar, during an incident on May 8 at St. Vincent College.

Drug charges filed
A Greene County woman was jailed after she was allegedly found presenting a forged prescription at a local drug store. Dorothy Shubert, 37, of Bobtown, is charged with acquiring a controlled substance through fraud or forgery, drug possession and forgery following the alleged incident on Wednesday. Shubert was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates and lodged in the Greene County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bond.

Theft reported
BFS of Mount Morris in Greene County reported to police that someone stole five propane tanks from the business between May 22 and May 29.
