ALBRIGHT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will host a chicken ‘n biscuit dinner 4-6 p.m. Saturday. The menu will feature real mashed potatoes, chicken, gravy, biscuit, green beans, beverage and dessert. Tickets will be available at the door. Eat-in or takeout will be available.

BULLSKIN TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY will host a stuffed chicken breast lunch 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at the fire house.

THE CHIEF TANACHARISON CHAPTER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN COLONISTS AND THE GREAT MEADOWS CHAPTER OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION will hold a joint meeting 1 p.m. Saturday in the Education Room of the Fort Necessity National Battlefield Visitors Center, Farmington. If the park is not open, the meeting will be held at Great Meadows Farm, Nelson Road, Farmington.

The speaker will be park ranger Mary Jane McFadden, who will discuss the Braddock Campaign.

Barbara Keefer, regent of the Daughters of the American Colonists chapter, and Janet Marker, regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution chapter, will serve as hostesses for the meeting.

FAYETTE COUNTY SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE BOARD will meet 6 p.m. Saturday at the Central Fellowship Church, Connellsville. All Sunday school workers are invited to attend.

NEW SALEM VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT (VFD) LADIES AUXILIARY will host a craft show 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the New Salem VFD Social Hall. The event will feature numerous vendors, chances at a Chinese auction, food and other raffles. Admission is free. To become a vendor, call Larissa at 724-208-5114 or Donna at 724-970-4855.

TRINITY UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH will host an organ concert with Gary Garletts, at 4 p.m. Sunday. Garletts, a past music director at the church, is returning after 20 years to perform the recital. Admission is free, but a donation for the recital series is appreciated.
