Police probe burglary in North Union

1 min read

State police say a burglar or burglars got away with dozens of high-value items from a residence in North Union Township between Sept. 26 and the first of the month.

Trooper Joseph Pokorny said during that time, someone broke into a home at 111 Curry Hill Road and stole items owned by William Davis of Monessen and Laura Burlock of North Union Township.

Pokorny said the items stolen include a flat-screen television, a safe, a video game system, a laptop computer, a washing machine, a dryer, several tools, five guns and a GPS unit.

During the heist, Pokorny said, a mattress, a television and an air conditioner inside the residence were all damaged.

Pokorny said that neighbors told police that a red pickup truck was spotted near the house when the burglary occurred.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.
