Classes/lectures

n First Aid Classes, approved by the American Heart Association, will be presented 1-8 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Carmichaels Volunteer Fire Department. n Managing Your Diabetes, 6-9 p.m. Sept. 24, ECC at Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH). Completion of the three-day “Diabetes Self Management Training” is required prior to attending this class. Registration: 724-258-1483.

n Adult CPR Instruction, 6-9 p.m. Sept. 24, ECC at MVH. There is a fee required to participate. Registration: 724-684-9536.

n Arthritis: How to Cope with the Pain, 6 p.m. Sept. 25, Finleyville Community Center. Rheumatologist Dr. Ajay K. Mathur will present the program. Registration: 724-258-1333.

Testing

n Multiphasic Blood Analysis, 7-11 a.m. Sept. 28, ECC at MVH. This is a 36-function screening test. There is a fee, and testing is by appointment only. Deadline to register is Sept. 25. Registration: 724-258-1282.
