Morrison Memorial Scholarship recipients announced
This year’s recipients of the Barbara Morrison Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Highlands Hospital Medical Staff are Leah Lilley and Peyton McIntyre.
Leah Lilley is the daughter of Steve and Joscelyn Lilley of Mill Run. She is a 2013 graduate of Connellsville Area Senior High School with a 3.93 grade point average. She participated in the following school activities: Varsity Soccer; Swimming; and Track; Symphonic Band; Drama Club; Student Council Officer; Student Forum Member; Sign Language Club; National Honor Society; and National Spanish Honor Society. She is employed seasonally by Ohiopyle Post. Lilley attends the University of Pittsburgh and is majoring in Biology.
Peyton McIntyre is the daughter of Steve and Darlene McIntyre of Uniontown. She is a 2013 gradate of Geibel Catholic with a 4.2 grade point average. She was a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team; Captain of the Basketball Team; Captain of the Varsity Cheering Team; President of the Spanish Honor Society; Secretary of the National Honor Society; Secretary of SADD Club; a member of the Ski Club; and was involved with the Band; Chamber Ensemble and the School Musical. Lilley attends Duquesne University and is majoring in Health Management Systems.
