WCCC Awards $496,000 in scholarships
Nearly a half-million dollars in scholarships were recently awarded to 194 Westmoreland County Community College students for the 2013-14 academic year by the college and the WCCC Educational Foundation.
With nearly $137,000 in funds received from individuals, community groups and business donors, the college and the foundation presented 87 different scholarships to 194 students at a reception held recently at the WCCC Youngwood Campus. The following area students are among the recipients:
