n Smoking Cessation Program, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 8, 15 and 22, Holiday Inn, Bentleyville. Classes are offered at no charge to Primary Care Resource Center (PCRC) patients, MVH employees and anyone with a referral from an MVH-affiliated primary care physician. n Innovations — Diabetic Food and Wound Care, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center (ECC) at Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH). Podiatrist Dr. Richard Young will discuss wound care and foot care for people with diabetes. Registration: 724-258-1333.

Screenings
n Bone Density Screening, 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Healthy Directions at the Finleyville Giant Eagle. This screening will indicate if more extensive testing is needed or if the person has osteoporosis. Information: 724-348-6699.

n 10th annual MVH/Lois Orange Ducoeur Breast Cancer Walk, 9 a.m. Oct. 12, Charleroi Market House, 423 McKean Ave. Proceeds will benefit cancer patients at the Charles L. and Rose Sweeney Melenyzer Pavilion and Regional Cancer Center, specifically breast cancer patients. Information: 724-258-1855.
