Connellsville police are investigating Sunday’s robbery of Domino’s Pizza on North Pittsburgh Street.

Police said a man walked into the store around 9 p.m., pulled his shirt over his mouth and demanded cash. Police said the clerk reported the man was holding a yellow utility knife.

Police said the clerk told the man that because she had just put money in the safe, all she had available was $15 from the last order. Police said when clerk tried to give the $15 to the robber, he got upset and went behind the counter. Police said the money had fallen to the floor, but the thief retrieved the cash.

Police said the man fled the store and in a red two-door vehicle.
