David Von Hofen, regional director of the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania will be the speaker. The meeting is open to anyone diagnosed with Parkinson disease, the caregivers, family members and friends.
n Stepping Stone Bereavement Support group fall program, 7 p.m. Sept. 8, Fayette County Health Center, 100 New Salem Road. The program runs for 10 weeks with different topics being presented weekly. n Crime Victims’ Center of Fayette County provides quality services for all victims and families of sexual assault and other violet crimes. n Pennsylvania’s 30th annual Camp Huff-n-Puff for children with asthma, Aug. 7-10, Jumonville Camp and Retreat Center, Hopwood. The four-day overnight camp is designed for children between the ages of 8 and 13, and enables campers to participate in education sessions covering self-management of their asthma.
