Falcons ride Brown’s 30 points to 71-48 win at Carmichaels

Noah Brown poured in a game-high 30 points as Brownsville pulled away from host Carmichaels for a 71-48 Section 4-AA victory in boys basketball action on Tuesday night.

The Mikes (0-4, 0-1) trailed just 13-12 after one period but the Falcons (5-1, 2-0) took control with an 18-7 advantage in the second frame and extended the lead from there.

Andy Smith added 16 points for Brownsville. The defending section champions are in first place again in the early going.

Liam Shea led Carmichaels with 20 points.
