Retail theft
State police said Curtis Arthur Brown, 72, of Brownsville was charged with retail theft Monday after he attempted to remove several packages of meat from the Uniontown Walmart.

Reckless endangerment
State police said while men from two pickup trucks, one with marker lights, were trying to spot deer around 9:50 p.m. Nov. 30 on Airway Inn Road, they fired several shots in the direction of a 35-year-old New Salem woman, name not provided. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 724-439-7111.

Burglary
State police said Sarah Nicole Wolfe and Caryn Janel Lane, both of Champion, reported that someone entered their residence and removed a laptop as well as an unspecified amount of cash Saturday from their residence on Indian Head Road.

Man charged
Southwest Regional Police said Joshua Skelton, 26, of Waynesburg was charged with endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment in relation to a reported assault involving a 12-year-old boy on Nov. 1 in Point Marion.

Revolver stolen
Uniontown police said Leanna Fisch reported at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 that a .38 caliber Charter Arms “Lavender Lady” revolver was stolen from her car.

Uniontown police said Larry Wayne Lusk, 35, of Smithfield was charged with driving under the influence after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Route 40 and Route 21 at 6:22 p.m. Dec. 13.

Uniontown police said Alton M. McCollum, 42, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly hitting and choking Rebecca Walters in a domestic fight at 11:02 p.m. Dec. 12 at 14 Murray Avenue.
