Uniontown police said Michael Kassouf, 23, of Connellsville was charged with simple assault and harassment Tuesday. Police said when Kassouf attended Kaylia Teets’ birthday party, he got mad when she started talking with other men, so he punched her in the nose and down more than 10 feet of steps around 1:54 a.m. at a residence on Murray Avenue. Police said Teets had a laceration to her face among other injuries, so she was taken to Uniontown Hospital.
