Prisoner injured
Police said officials at Fayette County Prison reported at 7:25 p.m. Thursday that prisoner Michael Edgar received an eye injury after being involved in a fight around 2 p.m. Edgar was taken to Uniontown Hospital and then Presbyterian Hospital. Police said his eye was punctured.

Cars damaged
Police received a report at 11:11 a.m. Saturday that someone damaged the driver’s side window of a Suzuki parked on Braddock Avenue. A report at 11:16 a.m. Saturday came that the rear window of a 2003 Kia was shot with a b.b. gun. A report also came that someone threw a block of marble at a vehicle on Nassau Street, causing scratches.
Police said someone scratched the rear passenger door of a 1997 Oldsmobile while parked on Thomas Street as reported about 1 p.m. Friday.
Police received a report at 4:51 a.m. Wednesday that someone damaged windows in nine vehicles at Route 119 Car Sales, located at Connellsville and Thomas streets. Surveillance video shows a white male wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweat pants, who approached the lot and left on foot.
Police said a report came at 11:11 a.m. Dec. 21 that someone smashed the rear window of a vehicle on North Gallatin Avenue. Nothing was taken.
Police received a report about 1 p.m. Dec. 21 that someone put red paint on a 2003 Ford Taurus while parked in an ally alongside Marshall Park.

Two-vehicle accident
Police said no one was injured when two cars collided at 2:17 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Berkley St. and S. Mount Vernon Ave. Andrew Moenneloccoz drove a 2001 Hyundai while Brian Shimko drove a 2014 Dodge. Both vehicles received heavy damage.

Burglary
State police said someone entered a building on Feathers Avenue sometime between 10 a.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Jerome Ferro of Fairchance reported nothing was missing. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

Gun shot heard
Police said someone heard a single gun shot heard on East Berkeley Street at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday. Police discovered nothing in the area.

Police said a couch was blocking the road on Shady Lane at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. The couch was removed.

Stray dogs
Police answered a call for two stray dogs in the area of Lenox Street at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. An owner picked up one dog. Police were unable to capture the other dog, a black pit bull.

Suspicious activity
Police responded to a call of suspicious activity on Hogsett Street about 10 a.m. Saturday that was a possible attempt to break into a residence. No entry was made.
