Items stolen

State police said jumper cables and tools were stolen from a vehicle owned by DeFrank Development of Smock while it was parked on Industrial Park Road between Jan. 6 and Monday.

Violation reported

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said officers cited Eddie’s Tavern on Francis Street for violating state liquor laws in January, 2013.

Vehicle overturns

No one was injured when a car driven by Cathy Eaton of Ronco overturned on Rockwell Road on Jan. 6, state police said.

Tree struck

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by Frederick Botti of Uniontown crashed into a tree on Connellsville Road on Jan. 8.

Purse stolen

State police said a purse owned by Tammie Whoolery of Smithfield was stolen from a location on Morgantown Road between Dec. 20 and Dec. 25.

Theft reported

State police said an unidentified man stole more than $1,000 from Gnagey Gas and Oil Sunoco on Route 119 on Friday afternoon. Police said the suspect, described as a white man waring a brown baseball cap, brown coat, glasses, bluejeans and boots ran into the business, took money from the unattended register and then fled on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.

Amy Holloman of Uniontown told police that cash and a credit card were stolen from her car while it was parked on Leslie Street on Sunday, state police said.

No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Jane Altman of Youngwood crashed into a utility pole on Greenbrier Road on Sunday evening, state police said.

State police said no one was injured when a car driven by Alan Weyant of New Paris overturned on Jim Mountain Road at 6:10 a.m. Monday.

State police said extension cords owned by Scottdale Builders of Scottdale were stolen from a construction site in Springfield Township between 1 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Jewelry recovered

State police said they found a tackle box filled with jewelry on Route 21 in Franklin Township, Greene County, on Monday morning.
