Man robs two stores in same night
State police are looking for a man who robbed two Uniontown area businesses between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
The first robbery occurred at Dairy Queen on West Main Street in South Union Township shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.
State police said a man entered the restaurant and handed an employee a note that said, “Give me all the money. I’m desperate.” The man told the employee he had a gun, and the employee handed him an undetermined amount of money from the register.
The man then fled in a white 2009 Chevrolet Impala, which had been reported stolen Friday in Uniontown. The vehicle displayed Pennsylvania license plate number GSD9849.
State police said the same man entered Exxon gas station on Route 51 in North Union Township at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, told an employee he had a gun and demanded money from the register. The employee handed the man about $80 before the man again fled in a white Chevrolet Impala.
According to state police, the man was described as white with brown hair and some facial hair. He is about 30 years old and was seen wearing a black ball cap, a blue Echo Unlimited long sleeve T-shirt, blue denim shorts, white socks, black sneakers and black sunglasses.
