ATV stolen

Chandler Cochenour of Connellsville reported that his 2013 Yamaha 700 Raptor all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the bed of his pickup truck while it was parked on Liberty Street at 10 p.m. Thursday, Uniontown police said.

Theft from vehicle

A fire extinguisher, torch, torch hose and coolers were stolen from a vehicle owned by Stewart’s Welding at the Holiday Inn on Route 40 between 7:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. Police ask that anyone with information about the theft to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Window broken

Judith Walko reported that someone threw a rock through the living room window of the home she rents on Clark Street at 4:45 a.m. Friday, Uniontown police said.

Woman cited

Jessica Sullivan, 27, of Hunters Ridge, Brownsville, was cited for public drunkenness after she was seen staggering along Morgantown Street at 1:05 a.m. Friday, Uniontown said, noting that she was also arrested on a warrant from Fayette County.

Two injured

Kathy A. Hawk, 65, of Lemont Furnace and her 10-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries when the car she was driving and a car driven by Daryl J. Hall, 70, of Uniontown were involved in an accident on Connellsville Road at Park Street at 9:38 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Vehicle damaged

A vehicle owned by Regina Ann Moore of Smithfield was damaged at New Directions on Chaffee Street between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday, state police said. Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Man cited

A summary harassment citation was filed against James Friend, 58, of Fairchance for allegedly grabbing Deborah Friend by her hair at 151 A Frogtown Road at 6 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Mailbox smashed

Someone smashed a mailbox owned by Gilbert Anthony Dean at 275 Coolspring-Jumonville Road between noon and 5 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

State police in Waynesburg said they are conducting a driving under the influence checkpoint somewhere in the county between Monday and Sunday, July 27.
