State police stand outside of Demaske’s Tavern in Jefferson, Greene County, while a search warrant is being executed Friday morning.

State police arrested a Greene County man after executing a search warrant at a bar in Jefferson on Friday morning.

Marko Demaske, 51, of Jefferson was charged with a felony count of receiving stolen property as a result of the search at Demaske’s Tavern on Route 188, according to Greene County District Attorney Marge Fox.

Demaske was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates and committed to the Greene County Prison and released after posting $25,000 bail. Bates scheduled a preliminary hearing for Demaske for 9 a.m. July 1.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department assisted in search.
