Hit and run

State police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the 400 block of Redstone Furnace Road where a vehicle struck two fences, railroad timbers and a parked vehicle Saturday before fleeing the scene. Police said the vehicle, described as a white pick-up truck with a cap on the bed or large SUV, was last seen traveling east on an unnamed alley opposite of Brownfield Lane and Brownfield Alley. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 724-439-7111.

Crash reported

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by William Farrier of Masontown crashed into a state Department of Transportation orange sign and two mailboxes June 10 on Fallen Timbers Road.

Dealership cited

State police said Jim Shorkey KIA of Pittsburgh Road was cited for disorderly conduct after its fourth consecutive alarm sounded within 12 months.

Jewelry found

State police said several items of jewelry were found Friday along Lincoln Street within the Holiday Mobile Home Park. Anyone with information regarding these items should contact police at 724-439-7111. Anyone who feels that this property could belong to them should be prepared to identify some of these articles.

State police said Wayne D. Howard of Dunbar reported June 18 that someone broke a window on his property on Church Hill Road.

Uniontown police said Rita Lowery of Connellville Street reported that someone broke into her home on Saturday and stole two televisions and a gaming system.

Uniontown police said someone stole a bicycle and a keys Saturday from Josh Maskarin’s garage on Cleveland Avenue.

Restaurant cited

State police said Rosensteel Restaurant at 206 Eighty Acres Road was cited Sunday by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for serving a minor.

Bridge damaged

Southwest Regional Police said someone damaged the control box and lighting panels on the Cheat River Bridge around 8:30 p.m. sometime prior to June 18.

Woman charged

Southwest Regional Police said Linda S. Morgan, 51, of Dunbar was charged with driving under the influence June 15 on North Main Street.

Tools stolen

State police said someone forcibly entered Clearwater Construction of Mercer’s construction trailer and removed tools from the school construction site at Carmichaels Elementary between June 12 and June 14.

Fence vandalized

State police said someone cut a hole in the fence surrounding construction trailers owned by Nello Construction of Canonsburg between June 12 and June 16 from the school construction site for Carmichaels’ Elementary.

Jewelry stolen

Southwest Regional Police said Ashley Martin of Long Avenue reported that someone broke into her home June 4 and stole her jewelry.
