Man charged
State police said James Raymond House, 45, of Hopwood was charged with possession of a weapon on school property — a 9 mm handgun — after an altercation Tuesday at the Fayette County Career and Technical Institute.

Batteries removed
State police said someone damaged gas well equipment and removed several batteries from gas well sites Sunday on Windy Hill Road, Seatontown and New Salem roads.

Pair charged
State police said Donald Landman, 42, and Bessie Wise, 27, both of Lemont Furnace, were charged with simple assault and harassment Sunday after a fight on Kira Drive.

Man charged
Southwest Regional Police said Jonathan Evans, 28, of Belle Vernon was charged with public drunkenness after an incident Sunday on Third and Market streets.

Man charged
Southwest Regional Police said Aaron Murphy, 31, of Daisytown was charged with driving under the influence after a car crash Saturday on Pittsburgh Road in Bentleyville.
FREEPORT TWP.
Woman charged
State police said Nicole L. Spencer, 32, of New Freeport, was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and various traffic violations after she crashed her vehicle on Main Street in New Freeport. Police said she fled the scene and was located at a residence in New Freeport. According to court documents, Spencer was taken to Greene County Jail but later posted bail of $5,000 cash.
