Hopwood man waives charges for alleged indecent exposure

1 min read

A Hopwood man accused of exposing himself on three separate occasions since December waived all of the charges lodged against him to Fayette County Court on Wednesday.

Most recently, James Kondrla, 29, was charged with exposing his genitalia to a motorist on April 23 while on Route 119, between the Hopwood and Morgantown Road exits. The motorist, whom police did not identify, alleged that Kondrla was touching himself.

He was similarly charged over allegedly similar incidents that state police said occurred on Dec. 5 and Nov. 20.

In total, Kondrla waived three counts each of indecent exposure and open lewdness, and two counts each of summary citations for harassment and disorderly conduct.
