Connellsville police said Tanisha Meadows, 24, of Connellsville was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident April 22 in Gibson Terrace apartments. Police said Meadows struck a Connellsville woman, name not provided, in the head and face, which caused the woman to be treated for a fracture and soft tissue damage.

California police said Brian K. Bonomo, 22, of Latrobe, Thomas Jaworske, 23, and David Scott Yuvan Jr., 21, both of Greensburg, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana May 11 while they were fishing at the Union Street wharf.

State police said a vehicle driven by Kathryn Demichelis of Connellsville crashed into a tree Saturday on Double Hill Road in Westmoreland County. Police said Demichelis’ passenger, a 16-year-old girl, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant.
