Man charged

State police said Jesse Mathew Fisher, 26, of Dawson threatened multiple family members and held a knife to his sister’s and mother’s throats Saturday at a residence on Banning Road. Police said Fisher cut his mother’s shoulder with the knife before fleeing the scene. According to court documents, Fisher was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, three counts of making terroristic threats, theft and harassment.

Money stolen

State police reported that a 68-year-old woman, no name or address provided, said Melvin Lee Landman Jr., 48, disappeared with more than $18,000 that she paid to him. Landman was allegedly paid to build the woman a garage and complete other household projects, though he only finished a small portion of the garage, according to police.

Pair charged

State police said Brian Lee Sines, 34, and Kathleen Rebecca Wyland, 34, both of Smithfield, were charged with firearm violations and criminal conspiracy after a traffic stop along Church Street shortly before noon on Saturday. Sines was also charged with drug violations. Both are lodged in the county jail, according to police.

Car damaged

A truck owned by John Miller, 72, of Uniontown sustained a shattered rear windshield after a rock was thrown at it sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday along Devan Avenue, according to police.

Accident reported

State police said nobody was injured in a car accident involving Robert Whoolery, 79, of Smithfield, Teresa Schomer, 43, and Jesse Miller, 83, both of Dunbar. The accident occurred along Route 51 around 1:20 p.m. on Monday, according to police.

Medication stolen

Jeanne Smith, 47, of Point Marion reported someone broke into her car and stole her prescription medication sometime between Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 along Ontario Street, according to police.

Revolver stolen

Theresa M. Wettgen of Connellsville reported that someone stole money and a revolver Oct. 30 from her home on Narrows Road, state police said.

Crash reported

State police said a vehicle driven by Samantha M. Stepanik of Oliver struck an embankment Oct. 21 on Grindstone Road.

Lottery tickets stolen

State police said someone broke in through the Prokopvitch Pitt Stop Market’s drive-thru window on Oct. 30 and stole lottery tickets and cash.

Mowers stolen

Joseph Wells of West Brownsville said two rotary-style lawn mowers, total value $75, were stolen Oct. 29 from the rear patio areas of his residence in Luzerne Terrace, state police said.

Vehicle damaged

Edward Bohna of Brownsville reported that someone caused $300 worth of damage to his vehicle’s hood Saturday while the vehicle was parked on Pearl Street, state police said.

Tires punctured

Heather Richter of Everson reported that someone punctured her vehicle’s tires Oct. 31 while it was parked on Painter Street, state police said.

Motors stolen

Brad Ares of White Street reported that someone stole two motors from his porch on Oct. 20, state police said.

Pair cited

California police said Linda Alexis Hamilton, 21, of Bethel Park and Demetrius Ward, 18, of Dunlevy were cited for harassment after an argument they were having Saturday on High Street.

Woman charged

California police said Holly Ann Stinson, 19, of Perryopolis was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking after she appeared annoying and a danger to herself around 1 a.m. Sunday on Third and Wood Street.

Man charged

California police said Darius James Lightly, 20, of West Mifflin was charged with retail theft after he stole something Saturday from Dollar General on Wood Street.
