Harassment

Police responded to an incident involving a student and teacher’s aide that occurred between 7 and 9 a.m. Friday at Fayette County Career and Technical Institute, located at 175 Georges-Fairchance Road.

Police identified the victim as a 17-year-old male student and the suspect as a 57-year-old female teacher’s aide.

No other details were available. Police said the incident is under investigation.

Man injured

Police said George A. Buncic, 21, of Point Marion was severely injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred about 4 a.m. Saturday along Route 119, just south of Hitters Delight Road.

Police said Buncic was driving a 2014 Dodge Avenger when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck several trees. The vehicle split in half with the front portion coming to rest in a field on the west side of the roadway. The rear portion came to rest in the northbound lane.

According to police, Buncic was ejected from the vehicle. He was severely injured and flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment. The hospital did not provide a condition report.

Motorcycle accident

Police said a 16-year-old male driver from Connellsville was flown to an unknown Pittsburgh area hospital with a possible broken leg injury after being ejected from a 2008 Yamaha YZF250 after an accident on Renze Road at Prittstown Road about 4:20 p.m. Oct. 1. Police said the driver was cited.

Two-vehicle crash

Police said a 2006 Ford Escape was hit while parked Sept. 29 at 10:20 a.m. in front of 109 Mack Farm Road by a vehicle that fled the scene. Police said the vehicle is possibly a black SUV with front-end damage and a broken bug shield on the front. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

Shots heard

Police investigated after receiving a report of shots fired in the vicinity of Pershing Court shortly after midnight Friday. Police investigated another incident of shots hears about 2:30 a.m. Friday on Connellsville Street. Nothing was found in either incident.

Possible assault

Police said Uniontown Hospital police reported just before 1 a.m. Friday they saw a van pull up to a person walking, a few people got out of the van and attacked the person. Hospital police said then the male was running up and down the alley. Police could not anyone.

Car damaged

Police said Philip Nicholas Myers, 24, of Fairchance was charged with criminal mischief after he damaged the car of a 26-year-old Uniontown woman at the Hi-To Lounge about 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 7. Police said Myers was spinning tires in the parking lot, causing rocks to strike the victim’s car.

Criminal mischief

Police said an unknown actor damaged the vehicle of a 59-year-old woman at 355 Walmart Drive between 6 and 10 p.m. on Sept. 23 and left in an unknown direction.

Retail theft

Police said Melissa S. Evans, 34, of Hopwood was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass following an incident at 12:20 p.m. Friday at Kmart, located at 99 Matthew Drive. Police said incident occurred as loss prevention staff observed the actor steal a pair of shoes. Additionally, the actor had been previously served with a notice of trespass from the establishment. Evans was arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Wendy Dennis.

Windows broken

Police said someone broke two windows in a 2001 Dodge pickup truck belonging to Michael John McCarty, 34, of Mather sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 4:30 a.m. Friday. The incident occurred at a residence on Homeville Road.

Theft

Police said someone broke into the home of Jerome Tucker, 25 Lincoln St., and removed rings, a watch and checks. The incident was reported at 10:20 a.m. Friday.

Disturbance

Police investigated reports of a disturbance about 6:30 a.m. Friday. They discovered two people involved in a verbal argument off Carlisle Street and the people left the area.
