Tools stolen

Cleveland Brothers of Murrysville reported that numerous tools including a Snap On bore scope, digital volt meter, clamp on amp meter, drill bit set, DeWalt 20-volt drill, metric and standard tap and die sets, wire connecting kits and a Snap On battery service kit were stolen from a work truck on Route 218 at Yeager Road between Oct. 3-6, state police said.

Car burned

A 2006 Mazda 6 owned by Chelsey Stockdale of Carmichaels was recovered after it was found completely burned on Water Tank Road on Oct. 7, state police said.

Bar cited

The state police bureau of liquor control enforcement cited Johnny Miedels, 1701 Buttermore Blvd., for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages in July after its liquor license expired on June 30.

Underage drinking

Borough police said they are filing underage drinking charges against Michael J. Hawrylak, 20, of Pittsburgh for allegedly drinking a can of beer while officers were talking to him about another matter at 545 Second St. at 12:19 a.m. Oct. 9.

Woman cited

Linda Alexis Hamilton, 21, of Bethel Park was cited for public drunkenness for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol to a degree that she was a danger to herself on Monroe Way at 1:33 a.m. Oct. 9, borough police said.

Public drunkenness

Borough police said they are filing public drunkenness charges against Timothy Schwenk, 22, of Erie for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol to a degree that he was a danger to himself on Wood Street at 11:35 p.m. Oct. 6.

Car scratched

Lori Barnhart, of Jefferson, Greene County, reported she found a scratch down the driver’s side of her vehicle while it was in the Greene Plaza parking lot sometime between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Drug users nabbed

State police said they found two unnamed women in their 20s, one from Confluence and the other from Farmington, using heroin in a vehicle parked outside an ice cream store. Charges have not yet been filed, but both women were taken into custody, police said.

Theft reported

State police are seeking information about an incident that occurred shortly after midnight on Sept. 28 at a convenience store at 732 Morgantown Road. Police said a male in his late teens and one in his late 30s distracted a clerk while a male in his early 40s took six cartons of cigarettes. They fled in an older green vehicle, police said.
