Victoria Dubos
Brownsville Rotary Club honored Victoria Dubos as September student of the month.
A senior at Brownsville Area High School, Dubos is involved in school activities that include Math Competition Team, Student Forum, and Senior Cabinet. She was chosen captain of the Varsity Lady Falcon’s Volleyball team, president of Tri-Hi-Y, vice president of Interact Club and Spanish Honor Society, and secretary of the 2015 Senior Class, National Honor Society and Student Council.
Last summer, she received the Rotary Youth Leadership Award from the Brownsville Rotary and attended the RYLA Outdoor Odyssey Camp. In past summers, Dubos attended Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week and University of Pittsburgh’s Summer Health Career Academy. Outside of school, she volunteers for Generations Elder INC.
Dubos is a daughter of Richard and Christina Dubos of Chestnut Ridge. She plans to attend either Penn State Fayette or West Penn School of Nursing with the goal of becoming a nurse.
Future plans are to attend the University of Pittsburgh for anesthesiology to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and work for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
