Man charged
Connellsville police said Randall J. Bizon Jr., 37, of Connellsville was charged with writing a bad check to pay for fines at Magisterial District Judge Ronald J. Haggerty’s office.

Dog killed
State police said Jason Shriver of Waynesburg reported that someone shot and killed his dog with a bow and arrow between Friday and Sunday on Whites Ridge Road in Greene County.

Man charged
Connellsville police said Sedrick M. Holman, 42, of Connellsville was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident that occurred Friday on 7th Street. Police said when Holman punched a Connellsville woman in the face, she fell to the ground. Police said the woman, name and address not provided, was treated at Highlands Hospital.

Man charged
Connellsville police said Brandon Powell, 22, of Connellsville was charged with retail theft after he stole $10 worth of merchandise from Shop n’ Save on Sept. 27.

Juvenile charged
Connellsville police said a juvenile was arrested after he stole $9.27 worth of merchandise from Shop n’ Save on Oct. 6.

Home burglarized
State police said Jermaine Damon Jones of Uniontown reported that someone broke into his home Sept. 15 on Crossland Avenue and stole multiple televisions, two watches, two computers and a pair of shoes. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 724-439-7111.

Criminal mischief
State police said two incidents occurred Friday on Meadowbrook Road in Greene County: Pamela Kiger of Meadowbrook Road reported that someone threw a rock through her storm window while Charles Shultz of Mather reported that someone through a large rock his truck’s window.
