Burglary investigation
The Wine and Spirit Shop on Route 51 was broken into early Thursday, borough police said. The suspect or suspects broke the front glass door to enter the store, police said. An inventory was being performed to determine what was stolen, police said. Police ask anyone with information about the break in to call the station at 724-736-0700.

Charges filed
Fleeing or attempting to elude police charges were filed against Wildie Jennings Richter, 24, of Connellsville for allegedly fleeing from police who were attempting to pull him over for alleged traffic violations on Route 201 at Ridge Boulevard at midnight on Oct. 25, state police said.

Vehicle accident
Vehicles driven by Amanda R. Little, 24, of Cardale and Jared T. Mirabella, 17, of Fayette City were involved in an accident on Route 51 at Northgate Highway at 9 a.m. on Oct. 27, state police said. A passenger in Mirabella’s vehicle, Eric P. Prokopovitch, 37, of Belle Vernon, suffered a minor injury, police said.

Property damaged
State police said a blue or green Volvo car driven by a female traveled off Falls Avenue, hit two gas ventilation pipes, drove through residential yards, crossed the road and drove through another yard at 11:05 p.m. Oct. 27. She was then picked up by the driver of a red Ford Mustang and both vehicles left the scene, police said. The female driver was described as white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and in her mid-20s with dark hair, slim build, a nose ring and brown glasses, police said.

Cat shot in leg
State police said Nedra Vale Giovannelli of Perryopolis said when her cat returned home Sunday, she noticed that it was limping, so she carried the animal to a veterinarian. Police said the vet determined that the cat had a bullet lodged in its right leg.

Door damaged
State police said Gerrianne Cottrell of Locust Street reported that someone caused $50 in damage to his trailer door on Tuesday.

Mary Zagar of Cemetery Road reported that someone damaged the front window of her home on Tuesday, state police said.

Deer struck
State police said Dean A. Sarti of Markleysburg was not injured when his vehicle hit a deer Thursday on Pittsburgh Road near Quaker Church Road.

Crash reported
State police said a motorcycle driven by William George of Washington and vehicle driven by Evaugh Gibbs of Waynesburg collided Tuesday on Route 21 near the Greene County Fairgrounds. Police said George was flown to Allegheny General Hospital.

California police said Cornell Demontree Nixon, 20, of Erie was charged with retail theft after he stole a container of eye care spray that was worth about $1 on Tuesday from Dollar General.

California police said Dave Neil, 58, and Mary Wilkinson, 65, both of California were charged with disorderly conduct after an argument they had Tuesday in Liberty Towers on Liberty Street.

Sunoco robbed
State police said someone pointed a handgun and demanded money Wednesday from the Sunoco station on Main Street. Police said the man took $220 and fled the scene. Police describe him as being 5-foot 11-inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a dark scarf covering the bottom of his face .
