Brownsville netters too much for Lady Lions

Brownsville swept the doubles matches and won 2-of-3 singles matches Wednesday afternoon for a 4-1 Section 1-AA home victory over visiting Greensburg Salem.

The Lady Lions’ Annie Neurohr dropped just two games in her straight sets victory at No. 1 singles over Angie Braznok.

Mackenzie Swords won the No. 2 singles spot (6-1, 6-3) while Tiffany Markovitch won No. 3 singles (6-2, 6-4) for the Lady Falcons.

The Brownsville duo of Peyton Jacobs and Becca Bochna won No. 1 doubles (6-1, 6-4) while teammates Lauren Zelner and Kristie Bulla won No. 2 doubles (7-6, 9-7, 6-4).

Brownsville (5-1, 5-1) travels to Trinity today in non-section play.
