n Have a master plan when it comes to your meal
n Cook to proper temperature, and use a thermometer
n Refrigerate leftovers within two hours of food preparation
n Properly defrost your turkey or purchase a fresh one
n Wash your hands thoroughly before, during and after food prep
n Wash all fresh produce
n Reheat leftovers to 165 degrees
n Keep guests out of the kitchen
n Serve only pasteurized apple cider
