Brown scores 36 in Falcons’ 77-66 win

Noah Brown poured in 36 points Friday night to lead Brownsville to a 77-66 victory against Southmoreland in the opening round of the FalconFest Tip-Off Tournament.

The Falcons led by one, 19-18, after the first quarter and nine at halftime, 38-29. The teams played to a 18-18 tie in the third quarter and the Falcons carried the play in the final eight minutes, 21-19.

Brandon Stone led the Scotties with 20 points. Zak Leighty scored 18 and John Leighty added 10.
